Locus Robotics and The Quality Group (TQG) have announced a strategic partnership to implement Locus Robotics’ LocusOne mobile robotics platform at TQG’s new 40,000-square-meter fulfillment center in Elsdorf, Germany. The deployment, set to begin in the coming weeks, aims to enhance TQG’s fulfillment capabilities as the company continues to expand its eCommerce operations.
TQG specializes in sports nutrition, functional foods, and dietary supplements under brands such as ESN and More Nutrition. The company has positioned itself as a growing player in the European eCommerce sector, focusing on high-volume fulfillment and operational efficiency. According to TQG Chief Operating Officer Selim Tansuğ, the partnership with Locus Robotics is intended to strengthen the company’s ability to deliver products with speed and reliability.
Locus Robotics’ Chief Commercial Officer International, Denis Niezgoda, described the partnership as an opportunity to integrate advanced automation into TQG’s operations, enabling scalability and flexibility. The LocusOne platform will support TQG’s fulfillment processes with technology designed to optimize efficiency, manage seasonal demand fluctuations, and facilitate both eCommerce and wholesale distribution.
The Elsdorf facility is initially expected to process 45,000 eCommerce orders per day and pick 300,000 units daily, with plans to scale up to 60,000 orders per day as demand grows. The deployment will leverage LocusOne’s FastPick technology, which allows high-demand stock-keeping units to be processed without decanting pallets. The system is also designed to provide operational flexibility, allowing TQG to expand or adjust its robot fleet as needed.
