United Robotics Group, a European provider of service robotics, presents an extensive portfolio of robotics solutions for various industrial sectors, including CobiotX, the new generation of service robots. By incorporating products from its recent acquired Spanish subsidiary Robotnik Automation, the company debuts application showcases for the inspection and maintenance sector.
From June 27 to 30, United Robotics Group will showcase its extensive portfolio of advanced robotics solutions at automatica, the leading international trade fair for automation and robotics in Munich. The market leader in the European service robotics sector combines the expertise of nine companies to present CobiotX, the newest generation of service robots in mobile use.
The demonstrated solutions find their application in inspection and maintenance, life science, intralogistics, hospitality and retail. The primary focus is on significantly reducing the workload for employees – crucial in times of skilled worker shortages.
“The service robotics market is highly dynamic, and innovations from Europe in particular are driving the automation and digital transformation of the economy. Our presence at automatica reinforces our commitment to advancing the robotics industry in Europe, providing economic stimulus, and accelerating overall industrial progress”, comments Thomas Hähn, founder and CEO of United Robotics Group and founder and chairman of HAHN Group, with more than three decades of experience in the fields of automation and robotics.
The United Robotics Group booth 310 is primarily focused on the inspection and maintenance sector – a critical component of many industries and infrastructures. The company will present specific application examples for the first time.
Using the autonomous mobile inspection robot SUMMIT XL from Robotnik Automation and the quadruped walking robot SPOT from Boston Dynamics, United Robotic Group will demonstrate live the different inspection purposes. These smart automation solutions can recognize environments and perform routine controls or monitor rooms and infrastructures, minimizing risks and maximizing safety and availability.
Another highlight at this booth will be the presentation of a new mobile platform based on Plato, United Robotic Group’s first Cobiot. It was introduced in late 2022 for the hospitality industry and will launch at VivaTech 2023 for healthcare sector. With this new concept for the manufacturing, intralogistic and retail sector, the company is now taking a look into the future. The autonomous mobile platform and intelligent indoor navigation system are ideally suited for tasks such as transporting goods in an agile way under the command of humans.
At booth 312 Robotnik Automation, the Spanish subsidiary of United Robotics Group, will display parts of its extensive product portfolio for the logistics and inspection and maintenance sectors. As a leading provider of mobile manipulator technology, Robotnik has comprehensive expertise in developing engineering and R&D projects for mobile service robotics. With its technology capabilities and strengths in arm integration as well as modular software, Robotnik seamlessly complements the United Robotics Group portfolio.
At the VDMA joint booth Service Robot City 210, United Robotics Group is presenting its CobiotX portfolio for hospitality and life science: Cobiot Plato and the CobiotX solution uMobileLAB.
uMobileLAB, is a CobiotX solution for laboratory automation. The solution was developed together with SIEMENS Healthineers to address the challenges of the life science sector. Its modular design allows for easy and flexible adaptation within the laboratory environment while maintaining safety, security and data protection.
