Kongsberg Discovery has announced the successful completion of a record-setting mission by its HUGIN Endurance Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV). The vehicle completed a multi-week mission autonomously, operating without human interaction or external navigation assistance after receiving a navigation update 10 hours into the dive. During the mission, the AUV navigated at depths ranging from 50 to 3,400 meters, achieving its advertised range of 1,200 nautical miles with a minimal position error of 0.02% over the total distance traveled.

Stäubli has introduced the TX2-200 six-axis industrial robot, which brings several upgrades compared to its predecessor, the TX200. The Council of Europe Framework Convention on artificial intelligence and human rights, democracy, and the rule of law (CETS No. 225) was opened for signature yesterday during a conference of Council of Europe Ministers of Justice in Vilnius. Shenzhen Han’s Robot will be presenting its latest collaborative robotics at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2024, scheduled from September 9th to 14th in Chicago, Illinois. Exhibits will include welding robots featuring motion control algorithms for high repeatability and accuracy, CNC loading and unloading cobots designed to enhance automation efficiency by more than 30%, and high-speed handling solutions developed through extensive research in motors and gearboxes.
