Techman Robot made its debut at the FABTECH exhibition in Orlando, Florida, where it partnered with AMET to introduce AI-driven welding collaborative robots (cobots). These cobots are designed to serve industries such as manufacturing, wind energy, oil pipeline welding, and aerospace, offering advanced automation solutions tailored to complex industrial needs.
The AI welding cobots feature an intuitive interface that simplifies operation, making them accessible to users without programming experience. Their lightweight and mobile design allows for flexible deployment, eliminating the need for traditional safety barriers and reducing the overall production space required. This makes the cobots particularly suitable for high-mix production environments, where tasks can be easily reprogrammed. In addition to improving operational efficiency, the solution aims to reduce labor costs and enhance workplace safety by minimizing occupational health risks.
Techman Robot’s collaboration with AMET has also led to advancements in multi-axis synchronized control technology, specifically for intricate pipe welding tasks. This technology, combined with AMET’s TMcraft platform, integrates seamlessly with other AMET products, improving both ease of use and welding precision. The joint effort between Techman Robot and AMET aims to set a new standard in welding automation by offering cost-effective, safe, and precise solutions across a range of industries.
