Techman Robot has announced a partnership with Panasonic Connect’s Welding Systems Division to enhance the development and deployment of automated welding solutions in Japan. The collaboration builds on a relationship that began in 2023 and is now expanding to address increasing demand for automated welding technologies in the region.
According to the companies, the partnership integrates Techman Robot’s collaborative robot systems with Panasonic’s digital welding equipment. Techman Robot has introduced a new module, the “Welding Node,” designed to simplify the setup of robotic welding processes. This module is compatible with Panasonic’s digital welding machines and is aimed at supporting automation efforts in response to labor shortages in the welding sector.
The integration leverages Techman Robot’s built-in vision system and AI capabilities, which are intended to facilitate flexible and user-friendly operation. Both companies have stated that the collaboration will focus on accelerating automation and exploring broader industrial applications through the use of artificial intelligence.
