Syrebo, a Shanghai-based company specializing in rehabilitation robotics, presented its range of rehabilitation robots at MEDICA 2024 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Featured products included its upper limb rehabilitation robot, brain-computer interface (BCI) rehabilitation robot, and a home rehabilitation robot, all designed for use in clinical and home-care settings.

The upper limb rehabilitation robot offers flexibility and precision, catering to various rehabilitation scenarios for upper limb injuries. The BCI rehabilitation robot incorporates portability and collaborative features, positioning it as a tool suitable for research applications. The home rehabilitation robot provides patients with a way to conduct rehabilitation exercises in residential settings, emphasizing user safety and ease of operation.

Syrebo has expanded its presence to over 80 countries, with its products utilized by more than 4,000 medical units and over 60,000 families. In 2024, the company received patents for its hand rehabilitation robot in the United States, Europe, and Japan.

Separately, Syrebo has established a partnership with Quality Production, a Belgium-based manufacturer of orthopedic aids. The agreement includes integrating Syrebo’s Hand Rehabilitation Robot into Quality Production’s portfolio. This robot employs pneumatic technology to offer active and passive training modes, meeting varied user needs. Representatives from both companies met to discuss industry trends and future strategies, aligning their goals to expand the availability of rehabilitation solutions.

The partnership is expected to enhance Syrebo’s global distribution and provide broader access to its products, further supporting rehabilitation care in diverse markets.
