Sunseeker Robotics Expands to Europe

by Marco van der Hoeven

Sunseeker Robotics has announced its entry into the European market with a launch event in Hamburg, Germany, introducing its second-generation wire-free robotic mowers. The expansion marks the company’s effort to extend its presence beyond existing markets, leveraging its experience in outdoor power equipment and robotics.

Founded over a decade ago, Sunseeker Robotics reported shipping 180,000 outdoor power equipment and robotic units in 2023. At the Hamburg event, the company presented a dual-brand strategy, featuring the high-performance Sunseeker Elite X Series and the user-friendly Sunseeker V3. The Elite X Series, designed for large areas ranging from 800 to 12,000 square meters, incorporates technologies such as the AONavi™ Positioning System, Vision AI navigation, and an all-terrain driving system with a patented floating cut deck. The V3, targeting lawns between 600 and 1,000 square meters, is equipped with ReadyGo™ and Vision AI technology, allowing for automated operation and adaptation to uneven landscapes.

As part of its European expansion, Sunseeker has established partnerships, including sponsorship of Bundesliga football club Werder Bremen and an endorsement deal with French rugby player Charles Ollivon. These initiatives are aimed at strengthening the brand’s visibility and engagement in key European markets.
