RobotLAB expands portfolio with eight drones

by Pieter Werner

Robotics integrator RobotLAB has announced a partnership with Vision Aerial, a manufacturer of industrial drones. This collaboration expands RobotLAB’s portfolio to include eight unmanned aerial systems tailored for business, government, and educational use. Among the new offerings are systems designed for applications such as surveying, construction, solar inspection, and agriculture.

Elad Inbar, Founder and CEO of RobotLAB, highlighted the breadth of Vision Aerial’s drone applications, including surveying, mapping, and academic research, noting that the partnership enhances RobotLAB’s growing portfolio of robotics solutions. Vision Aerial selected RobotLAB as its preferred U.S. dealer due to the company’s extensive experience in robotics and education technology, along with its track record of deploying over 10,000 robots globally.

Founded in 2013, Vision Aerial designs and manufactures drones aimed at improving efficiency and safety in data collection. Their systems support industrial operations in sectors such as agriculture, construction, and oil and gas, as well as providing experiential learning opportunities for Career and Technical Education programs. These drones, used for environmental monitoring, aerial mapping, and data analysis, are already deployed at institutions such as the University of California, Berkeley, Montana State University, and Rutgers, as well as in partnerships with entities like the U.S. Air Force and USDA.

Vision Aerial emphasizes its U.S.-based operations, covering design, manufacturing, and testing, which ensures supply chain reliability and quality control. Shane Beams, Founder of Vision Aerial, expressed confidence in RobotLAB’s ability to enhance distribution and strengthen the company’s presence in business and educational sectors.

Since its inception in 2007, RobotLAB has delivered robotics solutions to industries including foodservice, education, healthcare, and hospitality. The company provides end-to-end integration services, encompassing sales, programming, installation, and maintenance, to help organizations adopt and implement robotics technologies effectively.
