Realbotix has announced the launch of its proprietary Realbotix Robotic AI Vision System, designed to enhance the realism and adaptability of humanoid robots. The system introduces user face recognition, object recognition, face tracking, and real-time scene detection, aiming to improve user interaction and situational awareness.
According to the company, the technology enables robots to detect human presence, adjust facial expressions dynamically, and recognize individual users through uploaded facial data. These capabilities are positioned to enhance applications in social companionship, healthcare, and customer service. Additionally, the system integrates real-time object detection and scene analysis, supporting use cases in smart homes, retail security, and other industries.
The AI Vision System incorporates multimodal AI integration, allowing continuous updates to its scene understanding, and fuses vision processing with large language models to facilitate context-aware conversations. The system is also supported by Realbotix’s patented realistic eyeball technology, which enhances the visual realism of its robots.
The beta version of the system was showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2025, where the company presented its potential applications in various industries. CEO Andrew Kiguel stated that the development marks an advancement in AI robotics and reinforces Realbotix’s focus on expanding the role of robots in both social and business environments.
