Realbotix and Hollo.AI jointly presented a humanoid robot powered by conversational artificial intelligence at the 37th Annual Roth Capital Partners Conference in Dana Point, California. The collaboration involved integrating Hollo.AI’s character-based AI platform into a Realbotix robot, enabling the machine to replicate the personality of Chrissy Snow, a character from the television series Three’s Company, originally portrayed by Suzanne Somers.
The project utilized Realbotix’s open-source robotics and lip sync technology alongside Hollo.AI’s digital twin and AI personality engine. Hollo.AI developed the digital personality in coordination with Alan Hamel, the husband of the late Suzanne Somers and CEO of SuzanneSomers.com.
According to the companies, Realbotix robots support integration with multiple large language models, allowing for a range of personality-driven applications. Hollo.AI’s software enables conversational interaction through character-based AI, and this partnership marks the physical deployment of its digital twin technology in humanoid form.
Executives from both firms stated that this represents a first in combining independently developed conversational AI with a humanoid robot. Potential applications cited for the technology include entertainment, education, and marketing, with use cases involving representations of both living and deceased individuals.
