Pudu Robotics has introduced the PUDU MT1, an AI-powered robotic sweeper designed for large-scale cleaning in environments such as warehouses, manufacturing plants, and home improvement stores. The PUDU MT1 aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cleaning operations in spaces exceeding 100,000 square meters by utilizing advanced AI-driven features.
The robot’s key innovations include AI-powered trash recognition, which allows it to identify and categorize waste accurately, reducing unnecessary cleaning actions and conserving energy. Its smart spot cleaning function targets debris directly, enhancing efficiency by avoiding redundant cleaning paths. The PUDU MT1 is equipped with Lidar SLAM and VSLAM technologies to adapt to dynamic environments, adjusting to layout changes while optimizing cleaning routes for maximum coverage.
The robot’s 70cm-wide cleaning path and large 35-liter trash bin allow it to handle various types of debris, from fine dust to larger objects. It also incorporates a dust control system using negative pressure to prevent secondary pollution. Designed with ease of use in mind, the MT1 features an intuitive touchscreen interface and modular components for simplified maintenance. It can navigate narrow spaces and overcome obstacles, operating for up to six hours on a single charge, and supports integration with IoT devices for remote monitoring and real-time updates.
