Nexera Robotics secures $4.5 million in funding for robotic grasping technology

Nexera Robotics has secured $4.5 million in funding to advance its robotic grasping technology, NeuraGrasp. The investment round includes participation from BDC’s Industrial Innovation Venture Fund and is intended to support the company’s expansion efforts in automation solutions.

NeuraGrasp is designed to address challenges in robotic handling by integrating compliant grasping methods with AI-driven perception, enabling robots to manage diverse objects in dynamic environments. According to Nexera Robotics CEO Roy Belak, the company is focused on strengthening its partnerships with system integrators to accelerate commercial adoption.

Aditya Aggarwal, Managing Partner at BDC Capital’s Industrial Innovation Venture Fund, stated that Nexera’s technology aligns with the future of robotic pick-and-place systems and has the potential to impact automation across industries.

The funding will be directed toward research and development as well as market expansion, with Nexera continuing to collaborate with system integrators and robotic picking solutions providers globally.
