Elbit Systems will showcase its unmanned aerial system at the upcoming Paris Airshow, scheduled to take place at Le Bourget from 19 to 25 June 2023. The Hermes 900 UAS is developed to detect ground and maritime targets across a wide spectral range. This UAS with multi-payload capabilities procured by the Israel Defense Forces and various other countries.
The Hermes 900 boasts a wide range of applications, including ground support and maritime patrol missions. Notably, the Hermes 900 Starliner variant has obtained both military and civilian certifications, setting a precedent as the first UAS to achieve such dual recognition.
The autonomous capabilities of the Hermes 900 UAS enhance situational awareness and operational efficiency. By leveraging advanced sensor fusion and communication systems, the UAS operates effectively in complex environments, providing real-time data and intelligence to support decision-making.
Another system on display at the Paris Airshow will be Elbit Systems’ Digital Network Avionics (DNA) solution. DNA integrates a suite of products and applications to facilitate sensor fusion, collaboration, and communication. This comprehensive system enhances situational awareness and supports mission execution through AI-driven decision support systems and advanced tactical aids.
Additionally, Elbit Systems will present its ClearVision Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) at the event. ClearVision combines head-up displays, enhanced vision sensors, and synthetic vision displays to enhance pilot situational awareness and operational efficiency, particularly in challenging visibility conditions.
