Aetina Corporation has announced its participation in the Smart City Expo World Congress, set to take place in Barcelona from November 5 to 7, 2024. At this event, the company plans to showcase its latest edge AI platforms designed for smart city and transportation applications.
The company’s presentation will focus on the DeviceEdge series, powered by the NVIDIA Jetson edge AI and robotics platform. This includes new systems such as the Aetina In-Vehicle System and the SuperEdge AI Inference system, both of which are designed to handle AI computing for edge training and inference in urban environments. Aetina aims to highlight the role of these technologies in enhancing urban infrastructure and mobility.
Aetina’s offerings also include the use of generative AI for smart cities, demonstrating how edge AI can improve infrastructure management. The DeviceEdge series, utilizing NVIDIA Jetson Orin system-on-modules, enables real-time monitoring of critical urban assets, such as traffic signals and public equipment, and can detect potentially hazardous situations, contributing to the overall efficiency of city operations. As an Elite partner in the NVIDIA Partner Network, Aetina will showcase live demonstrations of the NVIDIA Metropolis software stack, illustrating how these technologies are applied to areas like sports analytics, smart agriculture, and smart transportation.
In addition, the company will introduce its advanced in-vehicle systems, which are designed for smart transportation applications. These systems, powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano modules, feature robust designs capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions and include safety certifications for use in fleet management and other smart transportation applications.
Aetina will also unveil its SuperEdge AEX-2UA1, a new short-depth server powered by the NVIDIA MGX modular reference design and Intel Xeon processors. This compact server is intended for deployment in space-constrained environments, offering AI capabilities for applications such as security systems, real-time retail analytics, and intelligent infrastructure management. It is designed to meet the growing demand for powerful AI-driven solutions in smart city infrastructure, while optimizing both space and power usage.
