Skild AI Develops ‘Human-like Robot Brain’

by Marco van der Hoeven

Skild AI is developing an AI-driven robotic system designed to operate across various tasks and devices by continuously learning and adapting in real time. Unlike traditional AI models that rely on pre-trained static data, the Skild Brain is designed to collect and process information dynamically, performing modeling and inferencing simultaneously.

To support these capabilities, Skild AI is utilizing AI infrastructure from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), including computing and storage solutions designed for large-scale AI workloads. This technology is intended to enhance training, tuning, and inferencing processes, enabling Skild AI to scale its development efforts efficiently.

The company is also employing simulation environments to refine the system’s capabilities before real-world deployment. Initially, the Skild Brain is intended for applications in construction, manufacturing, and security robotics. Skild AI plans to expand its infrastructure to integrate both AI training and deployment, with the goal of creating a system that can operate across a range of physical environments.
