UiPath Acquires Peak To Develop More AI Agents

UiPath has announced the acquisition of Peak, a Manchester-based AI company specializing in optimizing product inventory and pricing. The acquisition is expected to enhance UiPath’s agentic automation platform by integrating Peak’s AI-driven decision intelligence solutions, which help businesses streamline workflows, process data, and improve decision-making.

Daniel Dines, UiPath’s Founder and CEO, stated that combining Peak’s AI applications with UiPath’s platform would strengthen the company’s vertical AI strategy and provide industry-specific automation solutions. Peak’s technology, which includes AI-based decisioning applications for inventory planning and pricing optimization, will now be scaled globally under UiPath.

Richard Potter, CEO and Co-Founder of Peak, described the acquisition as a significant step in advancing AI-powered automation for enterprises. He highlighted that UiPath’s global reach and expertise would support Peak’s vision of delivering specialized decision-making AI solutions.

The integration of Peak into UiPath’s platform is expected to introduce new AI-driven Pricing and Inventory Agents, aimed at providing businesses with precise analysis and predictive capabilities. Peak’s decision intelligence technology will also be incorporated into UiPath’s orchestration features, enabling autonomous processes informed by contextual customer data.

UiPath and Peak have previously collaborated on automation solutions, including a project with Heidelberg Materials, a UK-based building materials manufacturer. The partnership optimized the company’s pricing process by automating data collection and AI-driven quote generation, leading to improved efficiency and conversion rates.
