Mushiny, a technology firm specializing in robotic logistics systems, has unveiled two new products—the 3D Sorter Mini and MIX Pro—that are designed to improve automation and storage efficiency in warehouses. The company introduced the products to address various logistical needs, focusing on reducing costs, increasing speed, and optimizing storage density.
The 3D Sorter Mini offers a compact, cost-effective sorting system that can process up to 1,500 packages per hour. This level of automation is aimed at boosting productivity and reducing reliance on manual labor, delivering sorting speeds approximately two to three times faster than manual processes. The device integrates with systems like WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), supporting both outbound and reverse logistics. Mushiny’s Founder and CTO, Huang Zhiming, highlighted the sorter’s impact in a recent project for an e-commerce company in Zhuji, where it reportedly tripled picking efficiency, cut labor needs by 65%, and achieved a return on investment within a year.
Mushiny’s MIX Pro system targets high-density storage and is designed to optimize vertical space with storage heights up to 12 meters, using double-deep racking and narrow aisles. This tote-to-person and shelf-to-person hybrid system supports mixed storage, accommodating various product sizes to suit a range of warehouse operations. The MIX Pro includes features to optimize operational flow, including automatic sorting, traffic control, and adjustable shelving to handle uneven ground conditions in new facilities. A lightweight mechanical structure and suspended track design allow for cost savings and flexible installation, enhancing its suitability for diverse warehousing needs.
