Bear Robotics has introduced the Carti 100, a new logistics robot aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing costs in warehouse and factory settings. The Carti 100 can support loads of up to 220 lbs and integrates Bear Robotics’ Autonomous Control System (ACS) to enable multi-robot coordination and material handling processes.
The Carti 100 offers a range of customizable options, including adjustable shelving, smart conveyor belt integration, and adaptive lighting. This design aims to provide flexibility across various operational environments, from traditional warehouses to complex multi-level spaces such as mezzanines and brownfield sites. According to Bear Robotics, the robot’s adaptive navigation capabilities optimize routing, minimizing potential errors and maximizing operational precision.
A key feature of the Carti 100 is its autonomous multi-robot orchestration, which facilitates coordinated operations across multiple units. The robot’s ACS system enables smooth transitions between different tasks, aligning well with conveyor operations for efficient loading and unloading. Equipped with an autonomous charging feature, the Carti 100 is designed to maintain high uptime by recharging independently when not in use.
Bear Robotics CEO and co-founder John Ha describes the launch as a step forward in the company’s mission to advance warehouse automation. “Carti 100 represents a major leap in warehouse automation, boosting efficiency and productivity worldwide. This product release reflects our commitment to building a future where technology and human potential seamlessly integrate,” Ha stated.
