ICRA 40 (part 8) ‘More safety around robots’

At ICRA 40, Universal Robots showed a new safety API that allows users to program its robots while accessing safety parameters within the operating system’s backend. This feature enables users to modify limits such as speed, provided that the changes remain within a safe range defined by the robot’s system. In Rotterdam the Rocking Robots team spoke to Edwin Avila Mireles from Universal Robots about this robots, humans and safety.
