Rainbow Robotics is currently attending the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2024, which is taking place from September 9 to 14 in Chicago, USA. IMTS is one of the largest global events for the machine tool industry, showcasing cutting-edge digital technologies in areas such as manufacturing, processing, logistics, and automation.
At the exhibition, Rainbow Robotics is presenting at least 10 robotic platforms, including its RB series of collaborative robots, mobile robots, and South Korea’s first wheeled humanoid bipedal robot. The company is offering special discounts on four models from its RB series, including the RB3-1200, RB5-850, RB10-1300, and RB16-900, which are competitively priced due to the use of in-house developed components like drivers, encoders, and controllers.
These collaborative robots are designed to work safely alongside human operators without protective barriers, enhancing production efficiency. This is especially relevant as the global market for collaborative robots is expected to grow, with forecasts suggesting an increase from $836.24 million in 2020 to over $5 billion by 2025, driven by labor shortages and rising costs.
Rainbow Robotics, which established a U.S. branch in Schaumburg, Illinois, in 2023, is also focused on expanding its presence in the North American market. The company plans to relocate and expand its U.S. operations to provide additional services, such as training facilities and demo rooms. Its products, already certified by NRTL in the U.S. and CSA in Canada, are designed to meet international standards, supporting its efforts to capture a larger share of the collaborative robotics market in North America.
