Window Hero, specialized in exterior cleaning services, has partnered with Lucid Bots, a North Carolina-based AI robotics firm, to launch a drone-powered cleaning service. This service is designed to clean larger structures more efficiently, as demonstrated at Ambassador Christian School in Huntersville, North Carolina, where the company recently showcased the technology.
The drones, specifically the Sherpa model developed by Lucid Bots, integrate with existing soft-wash pump systems and are capable of cleaning up to 300 square feet per minute. This new method allows for faster cleaning with fewer resources, reducing operational costs and enhancing safety for the cleaning crews.
In addition to the drone service, Window Hero has introduced a security window film solution. This film is designed to reinforce windows by making them more resistant to breakage and preventing easy visibility into buildings, thereby enhancing security. The window film was also installed at the Ambassador Christian School, contributing to the school’s efforts to provide a safer environment for its students.
Jeff Dudan, Chairman and CEO of HomeFront Brands, emphasized the company’s commitment to community safety and innovation in its service offerings. Lucid Bots’ founder and CEO, Andrew Ashur, expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting the goal of integrating advanced technology into traditional industries to improve safety and efficiency.
Lucid Bots, Inc., headquartered in Charlotte, is recognized for developing robotics solutions that enhance safety and productivity in labor-intensive tasks. The company has been featured in publications such as TechCrunch and Forbes for its innovative contributions to the field.
