During the World Economic Forum’s 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Dalian, China, Tony Li, CEO and Founder of KEENON Robotics, presented on the transformative impact of intelligent autonomous systems in a session titled “Autonomous Systems: Where Humans Meet Machines.” Li emphasized the independent decision-making capabilities of these systems and their integration into human life through advancements in AI, bridging the gap between AI and the physical world.
He discussed the evolution of robots from their traditional industrial roles to general-purpose applications in sectors such as hospitality and food service, highlighting the broader societal implications of these innovations. Li pointed out that the increasing adoption of diverse types of robots in East Asia reflects rapid technological advancements, growing market demand, and a culture of innovation in the region. This trend underscores the importance of preparing for a future where intelligent autonomous systems will play an increasingly prevalent role in society.
KEENON Robotics participated in the forum, also known as the Summer Davos Forum, held from June 25-27, 2024. The event, themed “Next Frontiers for Growth,” gathered approximately 1,600 participants from around 80 countries, including academics, politicians, business leaders, and representatives from youth and civil society sectors. The forum focused on six main areas: the new global economy, China and the world, entrepreneurship in the age of AI, new frontiers for industries, investing in people, and connecting climate, nature, and energy.
